David
Poem
There’s so much unspoken on your end
I wish you gave those stale thoughts a little air
Dear, you’ve been so strong but you’re only killing yourself
Performing in front of a mirror where you confuse an audience to be
There is no great reward at the end
For how many wounds you’ve mended alone
You aren’t your mother and you sure as hell ain’t you’re father
Stop trying to save face, let me see you messy
It’s what im here for
How many times have you picked me up off the floor
Revived my purpling face with an understanding ear
And a reassuring word
Can’t kill the bug of the problems
But honey you don’t have to face it alone
Accept a little help
People are more willing than you think
It’s not hot to be a martyr
All you’re doing is pissing me off
We’ve got to face the music
But we can dance a little while we do it

You made me laugh with „you’re pissing me off”, that’s when the mind argument ends x
